I spent some of today with Anna and Wesley. We had lunch at Guadalajara, played at the Discovery museum, and rode the trolley (a bus that looks like a trolley) through Charlottesville. Wesley helped point out things on the tour. We rode past the hospital where he was born, the University of Virginia, and the chapel where his parents were married. Then we walked to The Mud House for coffee, before returning to our car. All in all, it was a real nice time.

Rain that began Tuesday afternoon has continued around the clock until this morning. Poor Gwyneth does not like to go outside when it is raining, so I've had to suit up for the rain to take her outside. We're both thrilled it's stopped. It's time for our soggy grass to begin drying out.

We're pleased to have Anna and Wesley here for an overnight visit. Due to illness, we've had to cancel a couple of planned visits. We are making up for lost time and enjoying the day!

Our very good friends are first time grandparents with the birth of twins last Monday. Nolan and Alexa are the pride and joy of a large extended family. I've been working on crocheting these two baby blankets for a few weeks. Today, I'll mail them to the new parents, with love.
